Can the flag be ironed?

Flags are delivered folded in a plastic sleeve, which can cause creases in the fabric. You can let the wind naturally smooth out the folds, but this may take some time. Alternatively, you can iron the flag. Use the lowest setting on the iron (synthetic/“nylon” setting) and ensure the hot iron does not come into direct contact with the flag fabric, as the polyester could melt. Always place a thin cotton cloth or tea towel over the flag to avoid direct contact with the iron.
