Can the beach flag be washed and/or ironed?

Yes, the fabric of a flag can be washed easily. Preferably, use a short program at a low temperature (30–40°C) and a mild detergent without bleach. Never tumble dry the flag; always let it air dry by hanging it up.

Flags are delivered folded in a plastic sleeve, so fold lines may appear. You can choose to let the wind smooth out the folds, though this may take some time. Alternatively, you can iron the flag. Use the lowest setting on your iron (synthetic/“nylon” setting) and make sure the hot iron does not come into direct contact with the flag fabric, as the polyester can melt. Always place a thin cotton cloth or tea towel over the flag to avoid direct contact with the iron.
