The standard flag material (115 g/m² polyester) has a B1 certification in accordance with DIN 4102-1.
The B1 certification indicates that a product is flame-retardant. This certification no longer applies if the flag is washed or exposed to weather for prolonged periods.
Double-sided printed beach flags do not meet the B1 standard, but they can optionally undergo a separate treatment in which they are impregnated with flame-retardant substances to comply with the DIN 4102-1 standard. Please contact our customer service for the options and costs for this treatment.
