The flags are printed using sublimation printing. This is a digital printing technology where special ink is absorbed into polyester fibers using heat and pressure. Under heat, the solid dye on transfer paper sublimates into a gas. This gaseous dye penetrates the microscopic pores or fibers of the material. When the heat press is removed, the material cools quickly, and the gaseous dye condenses back into a solid, permanently bonding to the fibers or coating of the substrate. This results in high-quality, durable prints that do not crack or peel.
