What is a vector file such as EPS, PDF, SVG, or AI?

A vector file (EPS, PDF, SVG, AI) consists of lines and shapes. This means it always remains razor-sharp, no matter how large or small it is scaled. A logo in vector format can therefore be used without any loss of quality on both a business card and a large advertising sign. In addition, colors and shapes are easy to edit, which makes vector files ideal for logos, illustrations, and professional print work.

Please note: simply converting a JPG or PNG into a vector file (such as AI, PDF, EPS, or SVG) does not automatically make it a true vector logo. The quality does not improve, and the image remains built from pixels.
